Role: Review and Support

If a program or activity does not involve sponsored research and a written agreement is appropriate for a proposed international program or activity (e.g. formal exchange of students or faculty, inter-institutional collaborations, dual degree programs), the OGC advises on the terms and conditions of the agreement, assists in the document’s preparation and obtains the signature of the appropriate university official.    

If a proposed international program or activity involves collaboration with government officials, ministries, and institutions, the OGC can assist in providing information and training on the relevant legal parameters. The OGC also advises on programs or activities involving Cuba or Cuban nationals and can refer specific international research programs or activities to the IOCC or the IRPAP Committee.
