Yale has a number of resources for faculty, staff, and students to help plan international activity – from working and studying abroad to coming to Yale from abroad. Whether they are questions pertaining to visas or setting up a research office in another country, departments and groups such as the Office of International Affairs, the Office of International Students and Scholars, Procurement, and the Yale International Operations Compliance Committee are available to assist you.

Office of International Students and Scholars

The Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) is a resource on immigration matters for international members of the Yale community, any concerns about social and personal adjustment to life in the United States, and other personal matters.

International Toolkit CTA Box

International Toolkit

The International Toolkit contains information for Yale faculty, students, post-docs and staff conducting international activities, whether abroad or on campus. The Toolkit has two main functions: to give the Yale community a central point of access to resources at Yale and elsewhere that support our international activities, and to provide information and tools to enhance safety, reduce risks, and assist the Yale community with the legal and regulatory requirements that apply to international activities.
