Nathan takes the lead in managing relationships with multilateral organizations, works with faculty on strategic partnerships, and facilitates the collection of partnership data. He established and manages the Yale Global Emissary program, and staffs the Yale Scholars at Risk initiative. He also serves as Yale’s Fulbright Scholar Liaison. Prior to joining Yale, Nathan managed international partnerships for Global Affairs at the University of California, Davis. At UC Davis, he also launched and managed the Faculty and Staff Ambassadors and the Curriculum Enhancement through Global Learning programs. His previous experience includes directing programs in Southeast Asia for Volunteers in Asia and co-directing education programming for international graduate students at the East-West Center. He received his MA from the University of Hawai‘i in Southeast Asian studies and his BA from Wesleyan University in the Science in Society Program.
