Hamera Shabbir is the 2024-2025 Woodbridge Fellow in Communications for the Office of International Affairs. She manages the office’s social media platforms and assists with research on international programming. Hamera graduated from Yale College in 2024 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies, concentrating in Policy. As an undergraduate, she served as Editor for the Yale Daily News’ Sports Desk, Communications and Media Chair for the South Asian Society at Yale, and Co-Head Aide of the Branford Head of College Office. Before becoming a fellow, she worked for Yale Planetary Solutions and interned at the Modesto Bee.
