Yale's Ukraine course reaches a global audience

Yale historian and professor of global affairs at the Jackson School of Global Affairs, Timothy Snyder, has reached a global audience with his course on the history of past and present Ukraine.

His course titled, “The Making of Modern Ukraine”,  provides students knowledge and rich historical context to better understand current events. In this course, Snyder explores common misconceptions about history and challenges his students to identify these misunderstandings in the context of the war in Ukraine.

By last count, online videos of Snyder’s lectures have attracted over 2.5 million clicks and have recorded high engagement from viewers all around the world.
