The Yale Africa Initiative is excited to announce the release of the 2022 fall edition of Focus on Africa. The newsletter covers all the latest news pertaining to ongoing Yale-Africa relations.

In this edition of Focus on Africa we are pleased to share the latest collaborative initiatives, faculty research and news, and educational programs on the continent.  Among the highlights are: the ‘Bámigbóyè: A Master Sculptor of the Yorùbá Tradition’ exhibit at the Yale University Art Gallery; the partnership between Yale University and the University of Liberia through the opening of a new teaching and innovation center; a meeting of the African Linguistics School led by Veneeta Dayal; and a lecture by School of Architecture visiting professor Francis Kéré, who won the 2022 Pritzker Architecture Prize.
