The Maurice E. Greenberg World Fellows Program has invited 16 international leaders to join their 22nd cohort. Since the program’s start in 2002, it has welcomed over 400 fellows from 96 countries.  Four Africans will be part of the World Fellows class of 2023. They are:

Abdouramane Diallo hails from Côte d’Ivoire and is Head of Targeted Interventions at the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation. Naasu Genevieve Fofanah founded Susue Women’s Finance, where she focuses on women’s economic empowerment, and previously served as the Special Gender Adviser to Sierra Leone’s former president. Ann Iyonu leads as the Executive Director of the Goodluck Jonathan Foundation, where she promotes peaceful conflict resolution and shapes various projects in West Africa. Janaj Ncube, titled one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons in Zimbabwe in 2011, addresses civilian security in conflict areas as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Crisis Action.
