Rakesh Mohan, who graduated with a BA from Yale, was named the Finance
Secretary of India in 2004. Mr. Mohan is an expert in the areas of economic
reforms and liberalization, industrial economics, urban economics,
infrastructure studies, and economic regulation.
Originally from India, Krithi Karanth conducted a summer research study examining the impact of village size, land-use and socio-economic activities on biodiversity in the Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary in India.
With support from a Barry Fellowship, Benjamin Siegel '07 (right) worked
in India as an advocate for local residents who will be displaced by the
Narmada River Dam project.
