In the Summer of 2010, a Yale team led by Professor of Egyptology John Coleman Darnell unearthed a lost city—site of a massive bread-making industry—that flourished more than 3,500 years ago in the Western desert of Egypt.
Yale hosted its inaugural “Yale Week in Turkey” in Istanbul May 26-June 2, 2010 in partnership with Bogazici University in Istanbul, Bilkent University in Ankara, and Yasar University in Izmir.
