Publications include “‘¿Y memoria?’ :Larra y la resistencia al olvido” (Revista Hispánica Moderna 62 [2009]: 41-56) and translations of Miguel de Unamuno’s early poems (“Poetic Creed” and “The Cathedral of Barcelona,” Image 65 [Spring 2010]: 22-26; “Salamanca,” Literary Imagination 11 [2009]: 77-79). Her translations to English of several essays by the Uruguayan poet Eduardo Milán are to appear in a forthcoming collection by Shearsman Books. The recipient of a Fulbright Research Grant to Spain (2011-2012), her current research examines the little-studied relationship between Unamuno and several Spanish writers associated with “La Joven Literatura” (also known as the Generation of 27), focusing on youth as a central concept in their aesthetic thought and self-fashioning.
