Responsibilities of Group Leaders or Trip Sponsors
Travel with a group of any size requires the leader to orient the group and be prepared for any situation that might arise. This section includes resources for use by trip leaders and organizers. Read more.
Information for Student Organizations
Student organizations are responsible for appointing an officer of the organization to act as the trip leader, and notifying the Yale College Deans Office of the name of the appointed trip leader. The trip leader should consult Responsibilities of Group Leaders or Trip Sponsors for a list of their responsibilities and a list of available resources.
Health and Safety
All members of the University community who are contemplating travel abroad for educational or other purposes are encouraged to plan well in advance and to take precautions to ensure a safe trip. Consult the international travel information for assistance.
